(4) Feedback from National Committee - HA

(5) Feedback from U C & R Committee - JO

The quiz held after Christmas was very successful.
Meetings planned:
14th March AGM and open meeting: "Library and information staff in the learning process" at Newcastle University.
May - talk on JISC Angel project
Summer visit to 2 Universities in Leeds

(6) Treasurer's report.

Unfortunately Jane was unable to be present but she wanted to alert the circle that she would like to stand down at the AGM. All members are to consider if they would like this role.

(8) Date of next meeting

11th July at 2.30pm at QEVI Form, Darlington. This will be a joint meeting with the North-East VI forms group and hopefully the timing of the meeting will encourage more people to attend. We will have our AGM before this meeting at 2pm.

(9) Kathy Ennis

Kathy gave a very informative talk on her role at the LA and an overview of some of the important developments - especially in relation to the Learning and Skills Council.

The meeting finished with a tour of the resources at North Tyneside College.
