The Department of Membership Engagement & IT deals with communication and support to members and the wider community. It is comprised of three teams:
Information & Advice
- Providing an enquiry service for members and staff using electronic resources created in-house and from third party suppliers, including specialist advice on employment issues
- Maintaining an Information Centre in London for members use
- Engaging by use of Web 2.0 in wider community on issues relating to CILIP’s business
ICT
- Providing and supporting all necessary hardware and software to support CILIP’s business
- Ensuring that all ICT provision is compliant and staff are fully supported in their use of it
- Supporting the technical infrastructure of the website and other communications applications
Web
- Providing a CILIP presence in the digital space to enable membership development and commercial activity
- Supporting and training staff and activists in the production of website content
- Enabling staff and members to participate in social networking activities
