Member Engagement & IT

 
 

The Department of Membership Engagement & IT deals with communication and support to members and the wider community. It is comprised of three teams:

 Information & Advice

  • Providing an enquiry service for members and staff using electronic resources created in-house and from third party suppliers, including specialist advice on employment issues
  • Maintaining an Information Centre in London for members use
  • Engaging by use of Web 2.0 in wider community on issues relating to CILIP’s business

ICT

  • Providing and supporting all necessary hardware and software to  support CILIP’s business
  • Ensuring that all ICT  provision is compliant and staff are fully  supported in their use of it
  • Supporting the technical infrastructure of the website and other communications applications

Web

  • Providing a CILIP presence in the digital space to enable membership development and commercial activity
  •  Supporting and training staff and activists in the production of website content
  • Enabling staff and members to participate in social networking activities
