Chartership Board assessment timeline

 
 

The Qualifications Board is made up of volunteers who are senior information professionals. They meet six times a year to discuss Certification, Chartership, Fellowship and Revalidation applications. The Board may also approve decisions electronically between published meetings (Bye laws 67 and 76f). 

The turnaround for applications is between two and six months, sometimes this can be much longer. After the Board meeting candidates will be informed of the status of their application within 10 working days.
