Remit in brief:
- Identify and explore possible sources of funding
- Undertake market research to find out what sort of qualifications employer organisations would like to see available for non-professional staff
- Confirm to the OU that they are the preferred partner and clarify roles, responsibilities and costs
- Undertake conversion of significant proportion of NOS
- Develop at least one qualification
- Consider the scope of the potential awarding body across the devolved nations.

Employer Engagement

Remit in Brief:
- To draw together exisiting work on employer engagement
- To scope and define what is meant by 'employer' and 'employer engagement' within a CILIP context
- To act as a focal point for considering CILIP interests in the area
- To liaise, where appropriate, with other interested bodies within CILIP, e.g. TFGs, to ensure a co-ordinated approach
- To draw up a CILIP Employer Engagement Strategy capable of introduction in 2010
