The World Library and Information Congress is the largest, and arguably the most important single international LIS event in the world. As a CILIP member you are in a unique position to receive financial assistance to attend this event.
First timer award 2012
There will be one award made for attendance at the IFLA Congress 2012. It will cover the costs of registration, travel and accommodation. An application form will be available on this site from 15 March 2012 with a deadline for submission of 19 April 2012.
The two conditions are current CILIP membership and never having attended an IFLA conference (other than in the UK) previously.
The opportunity to apply for this award will be advertised in the March edition of Update and other sources.
