What is RSS?

RSS is an easy way for you to keep up-to-date automatically on websites you choose. Instead of you having to go to websites to see if they've added a new page, you can use RSS (which is short for Really Simple Syndication) to be told whenever they have something new.

CILIP offers an RSS feed for new content on its website.

How do I use RSS?

You need to get hold of a program called a news reader. This displays your chosen RSS news feeds on your computer. After you've installed the software you then choose which RSS feeds you want, for instance the RSS feed from CILIP.
