St Deiniol's Library
CILIP Cymru / Wales Member's Day 2008
Members of CILIP Cymru / Wales are invited to the CILIP Cymru / Wales Members Day on Monday 27 October at St Deiniol's Library, Hawarden, Flintshire, CH5 3DF. The day will begin with a welcome by Rhys Bebb Jones, Chair CILIP Cymru/Wales followed by a tour of St Deiniol's Library. In the afternoon representatives of Groups in Wales have been invited to speak along with Rhidian Griffiths, Treasurer of the Kathleen Cooks Fund and Rebecca Davies, Head of the Assembly Government Library & Public Enquiry Service and Chair of Activities Panel, CILIP Cymru/Wales.

CILIP's 2008 AGM will be held at the Brunei Gallery, The School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square, London WC1, on Thursday 16 October 2008, at 3.30 pm.

Government Information in the Google Age
Government Information in the Google Age
The Government Libraries and Information Group has put together an outstanding line up of experts in the delivery of Government information in the fast moving information age. The event takes place in Conference Room 4, British Library St. Pancras on 10 November 2008. The price of £125 + VAT includes lunch and refreshments.
Following the event there will be a drinks reception which will include the presentation of the 2008 GLIG Awards. You will also have the opportunity to have a tour of the Library lasting about 30 minutes.
