The text of the Bye-laws was approved by the Privy Council and by the CILIP AGM on 18 October 2007. Some tidying-up of terminology and numbering is needed to achieve consistency across the complete suite of governance instruments (Charter, Bye-laws, Regulations) but no substantive amendments are required. The Governance Implementation Group (GIG) was content to leave this tidying-up exercise to the office in conjunction with CILIP’s solicitors.
