The Qualifications Appeal Panel (QAP) is responsible for considering appeals against the decisions of the Accreditation Board, Chartership Board and CILIP Assessment Panel (CAP).
Under the new governance structure, all Chartered members of Council are members of the Panel. The Chief Executive is responsible for selecting a panel of three Trustees from the QAP to conduct an Appeal hearing. No member of the QAP will be asked to take part in an Appeal hearing where they have direct knowledge of the applicant or the employing organisation or institution.
