Council has set up a Task and Finish Group to review the financial support that Celtic Nations, English Branches and Groups receive from CILIP.
Following the New Business Model Working Group (NBMWG) report to Council in December 2007, the new Council set up a Task and Finish Group to review the financial support that Celtic Nations, English Branches and Groups receive from CILIP, including the opt-in arrangement that NBMWG suggested.
The Task and Finish Group's membership is Nigel Macartney (chair), Peter Griffiths, Isabel Hood and Judy Broady-Preston. They are being assisted by Bob McKee and Rowena Wells.
The Group's remit is to review the funding and membership formulae applied to these various bodies and to report back with recommendations. To further this remit the Task and Finish Group invites comments on a number of aspects of this issue before it finalises its recommendations.
A Discussion Paper explores some possibilities for change; CILIP Branches and Groups are being consulted about the changes. Branch and Group Officers should complete the online questionnaire by Thursday 18th September 2008.
