Over the years the Libraries Change Lives Award has been running many innovative and original projects have been created with libraries at their centre and involving partners to improve people’s lives in areas of reading, learning and information provision.

The wealth of experience and good practice out there is too good to let pass. Even though there can only be one project each year that receives the award, the library world can only benefit from being aware of other projects that have been submitted for consideration.

2004 sees the start of an annual listing of the ten projects that in the view of the panel of judges qualified as warranting particular attention being paid in the sharing of good practice to the library community. What follows is a simple sign posting to good practice.
