The programme focused on the increasing pressure on libraries to deliver social benefit as well as core lending services a time of deep cuts in government and local council spending. Expert Keynote Speakers looked at new challenges in the post-election landscape, while delegates benefited from Case Studies of previous Libraries Change Lives Award (LCL) winners and a session on tackling the NEETS agenda. It was supported by CILIP’s Communities Services Group.


The LCL Award presentation, a highlight of the event with guest speaker Mark Lawson and video presentations of the shortlisted entries prior to the formal announcement of the winners.
