CILIP in London AGM 2007

 

The 2007 AGM of CILIP in London will be held at CILIP HQ, 7 Ridgmount St, London WC1E 7AE from 6.00pm to 8.00pm (refreshments from 5.30pm) on Wednesday 30 May 2007.

The formal meeting will then be followed by a talk from Ian Snowley, BA, MBA, FRSA, FCLIP, President of CILIP, Director, Academic Services, University of London Research Library Services, entitled: “20,000 streets under the sky: a career in London's libraries”.

Ian’s talk will focus on his varied career working in London’s libraries over the past 20 years, starting with his early Public Library experience in Seven Kings Library (IG3), moving on to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in Whitehall Place (SW1), through the Department of Health in Elephant and Castle (SE1), then on to the Royal Society of Medicine in Wimpole Street (W1) ending up with his latest professional home Senate House Library (WC1) in the heart of Bloomsbury.

So come along, meet library and information workers in London and find out more about what CILIP in London has to offer. The meeting is open to all, but only CILIP in London members may participate in the AGM.
