Funding opportunities
Our treasurer is David Stewart.
The Committee has funds to support any study or research project likely to benefit librarians and the practice of librarianship in the North West region.
The Study element can include study tours or the support of members' attendance at conferences or workshops. Applications from lower paid or student members for this type of grant are particulary welcome.
The Research element considers a wide variety of projects including surveys, publications, the support of meetings and other activities aimed at disseminating the results of research supported by the fund. Funding may be for all or part of a project.
How to Apply
You, or one member of the group if it is a group application, will need to be a Cilip member. Application forms are available from the Branch Secretary, please contact Fiona Hughes.
Your Obligation
The NW Branch would expect a report on the final result of the project or course / event attended. A brief copy for NW News will also be required.
