Based on our experience of recruitment and marketing, this session will help you make the most of yourself online (and in the real wold) to help you succeed in your career.

Session 2: How to apply for a job
This session will guide you step-by-step through making the all-important next move in your career. As an interactive workshop, we will discuss:
· how to find your perfect job
· how to create an effective CV
· what makes a winning application form
· tips on tailoring your covering letter and supporting statement
Session 3: Communicating and making an impact
For many people, confidence isn’t a natural state of being, particularly when so much is at stake, which can impact how they communicate. In this final session of the afternoon, we will explore ways to help you really enjoy developing strong and meaningful working relationships. You will learn:
· tricks and tools to structure your communications effectively
· techniques to give you the confidence to raise your own profile as well as that of your team within your workplace
· powerful words to use, and words to avoid, to help you gain influence
The session will close with a look at the fundamentals of understanding body language, demonstrating practical techniques on how to present yourself to potential employers, mentors and industry colleagues.
