Formerly senior policy adviser at CILIP, Barbara Stratton is a copyright and information society consultant and trainer. She is active within EBLIDA's Expert Group on Information Law (EBLIDA-EGIL) and IFLA's Copyright and other Legal Matters Committee (IFLA-CLM).
She advocates on behalf of libraries, both nationally and internationally, for the achievement of a fair and balanced copyright regime which promotes access to knowledge in both the digital and analogue environments, allows the development of library services, and respects the rights of all copyright stakeholders, both rightholder and user.
