 The New Professionals Competition

"Information Unmanaged"

CILIP is happy to announce that the winner of the Information Unmanaged competition is Kathryn Brack.

Kathryn is the School Librarian at Anderson High School in Lerwick, Shetland. She has won an all expenses paid place at the CDG New Professionals Conference that is being held in Sheffield on Monday 5th July 2010.

Kathryn's winning entry is a cartoon

The standard of entries was very high; the judges had a hard decision to make as all the entries were so different - cartoons, poems, wordles, essays. In the end the judges decided to offer two runner-up prizes to another two very good entries.

So CILIP paid the conference attendance fees for the two runners-up - Vicki Bailey, a student at Manchester Metropolitan University and Sally Shaw from Halton Borough Council.

Vicki Bailey - Information unmanaged (Word doc)

Sally Shaw - What would the world be like if information was unmanaged? (Word doc)

Congratulations to all our winners - and thanks to all those who submitted an entry.
