Tour of Cambridge University Library


 

Career Development Group, East of England Division, invites you to:  

A visit to Cambridge University Library, West Road, Cambridge, CB3 9DR, Thursday 16th December at 2pm www.lib.cam.ac.uk/ Meet in the foyer at 2pm. Event ends at 4pm. Please note that numbers are limited to 24. 

Cambridge University Library is a legal deposit library, meaning that it is entitled to claim a copy of every publication in printed form published in the UK and Ireland. Almost all of this material is claimed and can be consulted in the Library. It also holds extensive collections of books, journals, maps, microfilms, photographs and sound recordings published overseas and has extensive special collections of rare books, manuscripts, and other materials." 

The visit will include a tour of the Library and a chance to view the exhibition 'Dream Voices: Siegfried Sassoon, Memory and War' in the Exhibition Centre:
