Welcome to the webpages of CILIP in Ireland

CILIP in Ireland is one of the Home Nations of CILIP; the leading professional body for librarians, information specialists and knowledge managers.  Formed in 2002 by the amalgamation of the Library Association and the Institute of Information Specialists, CILIP in Ireland represents CILIP at a local level and works on behalf of members to improve and support library and information services throughout the island of Ireland.

Committee members represent the public, academic, government and schools sectors.  New members are always welcome.
