Visit to the University of Surrey's new Library & Learning Centre
This is a fantastic opportunity to visit the newly extended and rebranded Library & Learning Centre on the University of Surrey main Stag Hill campus. The new Library & Learning Centre includes an additional 300 study places, 150 computers and 6 group study rooms. It also incorporates RFID technology for 6 self service machines for issuing books and paying fines and a sortation unit for the return of books. Jane Savidge, Director of Library and Learning Support Services will give a talk and questions & answers session on the decisions involved in creating the new Learning Centre. This will be followed by a guided tour of The Library and Learning Centre led by Dan Herbert, Team Leader (Lending Services & Access).
