Reflective Writing Workshop - a joint event with the Career Development Group London and South East Divisions
Wednesday 16th May, 6-7.30pm
This reflective writing workshop will be facilitated by Dr Aileen Wood. It should appeal to all Certification, Chartership and Revalidation candidates. It should also benefit mentors and anybody else who is interested in reflective practice.
Venue: Friends Meeting House, Brighton BN1 1AF
£5 for Cilip Members / £15 for non-CILIP members (payable on the day)
There will be drinks and sandwiches available, included in the price of the event.

CILIP Sussex AGM 2012 - Exploring Brighton's Rare Books
Monday 16th April 5.30 - 7.00pm
Join us at the Jubilee Library to explore the treasures of the Rare Books collection, with a talk by Margaret Curzon, Rare Books Manager. Brighton's rare book collection spans seven centuries and includes early printed books, illuminated manuscripts and examples of fine bindings.
Refreshments will be available.

Brighton LibTeachMeet 2012 - Outreach, Marketing and Promotion

After the success of the first Brighton LibTeachMeet, CILIP Sussex are organising one for 2012. This event is open to absolutely anyone: CILIP members and non-members, librarians, information ninjas, shambrarians, or anyone else.
If you haven’t heard of Teach Meets before, it’s a fun and informal way for librarians and information professionals to share new ideas through 2-5 minute micro-presentations related to the theme.
We’re looking for speakers willing to give a 5 minute or 2 minute presentation on the topic of ‘Outreach, Marketing and Promotion’. We’re also looking for enthusiastic lurkers, so please sign up if you are interested in hearing what your peers have to say.
