CILIP Cymru / Wales has about 800 members. All members of CILIP who live in Wales automatically become members of CILIP Wales.
The main decision making bodies of CILIP Cymru / Wales are the Annual General Meeting and the Executive Committee.
The Annual General Meeting is held during CILIP Cymru / Wales Members Day
The Executive Committee is an elected body for which all members are eligible to stand. Representatives of the special interest groups are also appointed to serve on the Committee. It meets three times a year, usually in Aberystwyth and deals with a wide variety of matters including professional concerns and local and national government issues, especially relating to the National Assembly for Wales.
The Officers of CILIP Cymru / Wales are elected by the Executive Committee.
There is one sub-committee, the Activities Panel, which works with the Development Officer in developing a programme of seminars and training events.
The Honorary Secretary of CILIP / Cymru Wales deals with the formal and constitutional matters. The Development Officer, a full-time professional officer, deals with the everyday business including drafting of papers on professional issues, communicating with the membership, and dealing with outside bodies.

Corff etholedig yw'r Pwyllgor Gwaith ac y mae hawl gan bob aelod i gynnig ei enw ar ei gyfer. Hefyd, dewisir cynrychiolwyr o'r grwpiau diddordeb arbennig i fod yn aelodau o'r Pwyllgor Gwaith. Mae'r Pwyllgor Gwaith yn cyfarfod dair neu bedair gwaith y flwyddyn, fel arfer yn Aberystwyth, ac yn delio ag ystod eang o faterion, yn cynnwys rhai'n ymwneud â materion proffesiynol a rhai ym maes llywodraeth leol a chenedlaethol, yn enwedig rhai sy'n berthnasol i'r Cynulliad Cenedlaethol.

Mae 'na un is-bwyllgor, sef y Panel Gweithgareddau, sy'n cydweithio gyda'r Swyddog Datblygu i ddatblygu rhaglen o seminarau a chyrsiau hyfforddi.
Mae Ysgrifennydd Mygedol CILIP Cymru yn delio â materion ffurfiol a chyfansoddiadol. Mae'r Swyddog Datblygu - sy'n swyddog proffesiynol llawn-amser - yn delio â busnes o ddydd i ddydd, yn cynnwys drafftio dogfennau ar faterion proffesiynol, cysylltu â'r aelodau, a delio â chyrff allanol.
