Opening Up Government - Do Information Professionals have the key to door?

This is a joint conference being organised by the Committee of Departmental Librarians (CDL), the Government Information Group (GIG) which is a sub group of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals (CILIP), and the Network of Government Librarians and Information Professionals (NGLIS). The key note speaker at the event will be Annie Mauger, Chief Executive of CILIP The conference will include sessions on shared services and afternoon breakout sessions on technology channels, collaborative working and professional skills. 

The conference will end with a drinks reception sponsored by the FT.
