The Aerospace and Defence Librarians Group (ADLG) is a CILIP Special Interest Group which brings together information staff working in a wide range of Aerospace and Defence institutions including government, industry, academic organisations, learned societies and research associations.

The Group organises visits and seminars and produces a lively newsletter.
Membership of the ADLG offers librarians and information professionals in the Aerospace and Defence sectors the opportunity to:
- Meet other people working in the same field
- Have opportunities to exchange ideas and information
- Benefit from the experience of librarians working in similar libraries with similar problems and challenges
- Broaden their outlook - meet librarians from very different organisations
- Keep up to date with new technologies and developments
- Increase professional knowledge and expertise
