Certification

If you registered for Certification (ACLIP) before the end of 2008 you will be aware of the introduction of the single category Certification scheme from 1 January 2009 and the cessation of the original Categories 1 and 2.

The deadline for submission of applications under Category 1 was 31 December 2008. The deadline for submissions of applications under Category 2 was 31 July 2009.

Any candidate who is intending to submit under Category 2 must ensure that their application (3 copies of the portfolio plus the application form and payment) is received by the CILIP Qualifications & Professional Development Department no later than 31 July 2009. No further applications under Category 2 will be accepted after this date.

If you were planning on submitting an application under Category 2 but feel that you are likely to be unable to submit by this deadline, you should prepare your application under the single category scheme using the single category criteria, templates and application form. LIS-CILIP-ACLIP
The ACLIP discussion list is now up and running and you can join by visiting the link below.
The list name lis-cilip-aclip has been chosen to harmonise with the existing LIS-CILIP-REG (chartership) and LIS-CILIP-REVAL (revalidation).
