This group is ideal for staff working in smaller libraries in all types of public library services and particularly staff working on or with mobile libraries.
The Group also attracts support and interest from senior library managers who recognise the importance of the services provided by branch and mobile librarians.

Mobile Library Champion of the Year
Entries for the Mobile Library Champion have flooded in. The committee has spent a good deal of time sorting through the various entries. It has been a heart warming task. It is great to know that so much good work is going on at the sharp end of the service.
We have reached a decision and will announce the winner and those that are highly commended at the Mobilemeet in Dewsbury on Saturday May 8th 2010. Awards will be made by (Former Speaker of the House of Commons,) The Right Honourable Baroness Boothroyd, OM, PC.
