CoFHE Southern Circle

From 1st January 2012 CILIP's Colleges of Further and Higher Education (CoFHE) and University College and Research (UC&R) Special Interest Groups are to merge to form a new Special Interest Group called the Academic and Research Libraries Group (ARLG). Please see UC&R's What's New web page, the 2011 CoFHE/UC&R Joint Statement and the Autumn 2011 CoFHE Bulletin for the latest information.

From 2012 the CoFHE Southern Circle may merge with any local U&CR members to become the ALRG South Central Network. There may also be ARLG Networks for the South West (UC&R SW + CoFHE SW), and for London & the South East (UC&R London + CoFHE LASEC).

CoFHE Southern Circle was CILIP CoFHE's regional group for Hampshire & the Isle of Wight, Dorset and West Sussex. The Circle held events three times a year: an AGM/Study Day; a training event for Library Assistants; and a visit to a library; from March to June.
