Mission
The mission of the Career Development Group is to:
- support
- represent
- promote
the development needs of new and existing library and information workers and students.
Aims
The aims of the Career Development Group are to:
- provide a range of practical lifelong learning opportunities for members
- ensure that the views, concerns and interests of members are effectively represented
- create and expand local development and networking opportunities
- provide support through the chartership process
- stimulate new ideas, debates and developments
- disseminate best practice
- initiate and promote positive change by focusing on issues and campaigns
