Awards
The Career Development Group currently offers two prestigious awards: the Martin Award and the Award of Honorary Fellowship

- The only CILIP Group to award its own Honorary Fellowship award
- The award is given to one or more persons who have offered exceptional and significant service to the Career Development Group

- The Martin Award was established in the 1950s in honour of previous Honorary Joint Education Officers Mr and Mrs Martin
- It is awarded every two years to the writer of the best article in the Group’s journal, Impact
- New professional voices are particularly encouraged
