Helen Murphy

Helen Murphy works for Trinity Hall, Cambridge, as the Deputy Librarian, a job which involves practically every aspect of librarianship which has ever been thought of, and possibly some which haven't. Prior to this, she was the Graduate Trainee Librarian at MurrayEdwardsCollege. Helen's academic background is in Theology: her first degree in the subject was an MA from St Andrews, and she also has an MTh in Theological Ethics and an MRes in Political Ethics from Edinburgh. She is currently studying for an MSc Econ in Information and Library Studies by distance learning with Aberystwyth in the hopes that, among other things, she will one day have more letters after her name than in it.

Helen's professional interests include new technologies, social media and especially social tagging, information literacy, and professional development. Her non-professional interests are all too frivolous to be mentioned.
