Fundraising Appeal
CDG offers opportunities for international exchange visits and professional support to libraries/librarians in the developing countries.
Any amount given will contribute to the Redcliff Children’s Library and Literacy project in Zimbabwe. We need to raise £3500 for current projects. If adequate funds for current projects are raised timely, this will enable us to support the next project in yet another more deserving country. CDG International focuses on projects that have impact on advancing or sustaining information literacy and careers of librarians in the developing world.
CDG International has sponsored a book party in Laos for literacy campaign by Big Brother Mouse. Another book party will be sponsored during 2012. Each book party costs between £200 to £300.
