Successfully Dealing with Change

CILIP South West Division (Formerly CILIP SW, CDG West Country and CDG Devon and Cornwall) and SWRLS are running a course on dealing with change. Free to CILIP SW members.
This 3.5 hour session will focus on:
- Developing some strategies both as individuals and as a group to deal with change and it’s consequences more effectively
- Understanding what stress is, its physiology and how it manifests itself in different people
- Recognising the symptoms of stress in themselves and each other
- Understanding what help is available for addressing change and its consequences within and through the library
Workshop Leader: Joy Smart
Smartrain has nearly 20 years experience of training and development in a wide variety of organisations including a number of universities and covering all main training topics.

Visit to Swindon Public Library
A half day visit organised by SWRLS and CILIP SW Branch
(Formerly CILIP SW, CDG West Country and CDG Devon and Cornwall)

Swindon’s central library was built in 2008 and formed part of the central town’s regeneration plans. Join CILIP SW on this visit, hosted by Leon Flower, for a tour of the library nearly 4 years on, including the back of house.
There will also be the opportunity to hear from Swindon’s local studies team about their work or to learn about Swindon’s RFID self service provision.
