Scott Polar Library Visit
Scott Polar Library in Cambridge on February 9th, 2012 at 2:15pm.
The Scott Polar is a fairly traditional library to look at, but
functions rather differently from the other departmental libraries in
Cambridge, in serving the worldwide polar community and being very
outward facing. It also has the world's largest polar archive and the
photographic library embedded and works closely with the Polar Museum.
The visit will last approx 1-1.5 hours. Apart from one disabled space,
which can be reserved, there is no parking on site, however there is
ample parking at the Queen Anne car park about five minutes walk away.
