Alison has been an information professional for over 15 years. She has a BA in Librarianship & Information Studies from Liverpool Polytechnic, and a MA in Information Science from City University. Her background up until receiving her MA was mainly in the health and medical library sector. Now however, she is the Technical Information Manager for the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders Ltd., an automotive trade association, a real change in direction.
As well as being an ordinary member, Alison is the ICLG News Editor.
To relax she enjoys going to the gym, watching a good film, reading a good book and eating good food - but not all at the same time! Currently she is working her way through the brilliant books of Alexander McCall Smith.
