Meeting details: What is SharePoint, where is it heading, and how to make best use of it for information and knowledge management?

Overview:
Companies and organisations are increasingly implementing Sharepoint for the solution to their collaborative, information and document management requirements. According to Microsoft, SharePoint provides a single, integrated location where employees can efficiently collaborate with team members, find organizational resources, search for experts and corporate information, manage content and workflow, and leverage business insight to make better-informed decisions. But how is it used in the real world?

This joint NetIKX, CLSIG seminar will be an opportunity for those who are new to SharePoint to get an understanding of what it is about, and for all participants, whether new or experienced to get insights on where it is heading. It will include case studies from organisations showing how they make use of it for information and knowledge management.

If you are a NetIKX Member or join NetIKX now there is no charge. CLSIG members are charged £10. Non-members are welcome to attend at a charge of £20. As this is a joint meeting, the standard NetIKX special offer of the first meeting free will not apply.
