Developing your web presence: the librarians guide

This session aimed at librarians, covers how to shape your web profile and promote your research and other activities via different online arenas. This includes using repositories, departmental & personal webpages, blogs and academic (social) networking sites. It also includes tips when writing for the web and guidance on running a similar course in your own institution.

The course tutors have been running this course in their own institution for academic staff and researchers and will share their experiences. In addition to help you develop your own web presence, you will learn how to support others.
