An Inconvenient Truth: Race, Class and Libraries
Our political leaders may well insist that that race and class are no longer relevant in the 21st century, but we in the CILIP Diversity Group know that these are issues that still impact heavily on both library staff AND our service users, and we think you would agree with us. We hope our conference will provide healthy debate and information on different aspects of race, class and libraries. The playwright, author and critic Bonnie Greer will be our keynote speaker.
