Health Library and Information Services Directory
Following a review by NHS Evidence of HLISD an agreement has been reached for the transfer and continuation of this service.
The Strategic Health Authority Library Leads (SHALL) group will become the new NHS partners with HLG and RCN continuing as before.
A planned and managed migration is now underway with HLISD to remain hosted by NHS Evidence until the end of March 2010. This will allow a smooth transition and the completion of current improvement projects. SHALL have retained the services of the HLISD Co-ordinating Editor for this period. The HLISD Board will be reconvened to oversee arrangements and will then continue to provide the strategic lead for the directory.
There should be minimal disruption to the function of the site and editors are asked to continue to maintain their entries as before.
HLISD is live at http://www.hlisd.org and covers the UK and the Republic of Ireland and includes all health library and information sectors - NHS, FE & HE, Government, Professional Bodies, Patient Information, Voluntary Organisations and Public Library Services.
