Get Involved

You can get involved with LfN in a number of ways:

Join us on the committee

we meet about four times a year and pay your travel expenses. The committee is small and informal and provides a good opportunity to meet people working in a variety of information settings. We encourage representation from across the UK and have members from Wales, Northern Ireland and North & South England and would welcome a representative from Scotland.

Sign up and use the Lis-nursing discussion list.

LIS-Nursing is one of the mailing lists available through JISCMAIL the National Academic Mailing List Service. http://jiscmail.ac.uk see the instructions under the "Join/Leave a list". Alternatively go straight to the LIS-Nursing Archive page at http://jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/LIS-NURSING.html and follow the instructions to Join or leave the list.

Write an article for the Bulletin.

See your name in print! We welcome articles on a range of topics including new initiatives, a new user guide you may have developed, a user survey you've undertaken, perhaps you work in a specialist area or work as a single staff library, then write us a piece about what it's like working in your organisation. The Bulletin aims to be a practical lighthearted read. Please send articles to our Bulletin editors: Sarah Kevill s.j.kevill@stir.ac.uk and Phillip Barlow p.barlow@imperial.ac.uk
