Membership
Membership of ILIG - the International Library and Information Group of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
For CILIP members - whether Individual Members or Organisation Members - who have an interest in the world, ILIG is the Special Interest Group (SIG) for you! Have a browse through our web pages, including a leaf through a recent issue or two of ILIG's journal, Focus on International Library and Information Work, which is sent to every ILIG member. Then take the opportunity, when you renew your CILIP membership for 2010, to add ILIG [code J] to your Special Interest Groups. If you have already renewed for 2010, simply contact Membership at membership@cilip.org.uk and ask them to add ILIG to your SIGs.
Just to remind you, membership of two Special Interest Groups is included in your CILIP subscription for 2010. You can join any number of additional Groups - including ILIG, for a fee of £10 per Group.
Don't forget, ILIG Individual Members, to register with the CILIP website so that you can receive News from ILIG - the monthly email bulletin distributed, on ILIG's behalf, by CILIP's Membership Support Unit. For details use this link.
Not a member of CILIP?
Did you know that ILIG also welcomes people who are not CILIP members? Your can become a Subscribing Member of ILIG. For 2010 the subscription is £30 (US$70 or €50).
