Membership

For CILIP members - whether Individual Members or Organisation Members - who have an interest in the world, ILIG is the Special Interest Group (SIG) for you!  Have a browse through our web pages, including a leaf through a recent issue or two of ILIG's journal, Focus on International Library and Information Work, which is sent to every ILIG member.  Then take the opportunity, when you renew your CILIP membership, to add ILIG [code J] to your Special Interest Groups.  If you have already renewed for the next subscription year, simply contact Membership at membership@cilip.org.uk and for ILIG to be added  to your SIGs. 

Membership of two Special Interest Groups is included in your CILIP subscription but you can also join any number of additional SIGs - including ILIG - for an additional fee of £10 per Group. 

Please remember to register with the CILIP website - you can do so using the link at the top of this page, to the right of the search box.  When registered CILIP Individual members can receive the monthly email bulletins distributed on behalf of the SIGs by CILIP.  Not only that - you can access CILIP members' only pages and CILIP Communities as well as being able to update your membership details for yourself.  And, of course, the members' only pages of the SIGs you belong to. 

Not a member of CILIP?

Did you know that ILIG also welcomes people who are not CILIP members?  You can become a Subscribing Member of ILIG.  For further information about becoming a Subscribing  Member, please contact Norman Briggs at nwbriggs@iliacuk.co.uk
