Publications
The main regular publication of the Local Studies Group of CILIP is the Local Studies Librarian. From 2011, this will be published annually in print form.
In addition, an electronic newsletter, Local Studies Librarian+ will be available to LSG members via the CILIP website. It will be published twice per year. Any members or subscribers requiring a printed or e-mailed copy of Local Studies Librarian+, please contact us.

The group has also produced Local studies libraries: Library Association guidelines for local studies provision in public libraries. 2nd ed. (London: Library Association, 2002). These guidelines include competencies for local studies librarians and are available from Facet Publishing. |
