A former Presbyterian church which has been refurbished & extended, it is an interesting historic building in its own right.

  • THE INTEGRITY OF THE CHURCH HAS BEEN RESPECTED AS FAR AS POSSIBLE
  • AN IMAGINATIVE USE OF COLOUR, WITH SIMPLE & BRIGHT INTERNAL SIGNS
  • STRIKING USE OF LOCAL ARTWORK AND ARTEFACTS, INCLUDING A DRONTHEIM FISHING BOAT SUSPENDED FROM THE CEILING
  • GOOD DISABLED ACCESS. THE LIBRARY HAS BEEN THE PILOT FOR THE LIBRARIES FOR ALL: ACCESS STRATEGY FOR LIBRARY SERVICE DOCUMENT
