"It is a difficult task to renovate successfully a mock Tudor building. The architects have achieved an integrity of design, producing an attractive and inviting library for the whole community."

The library is a converted 1920s building, built in a Tudor style on 2 floors. It attracted Capital Challenge Funding and is integral to the regeneration of the shopping centre.
