Seminar on 'Approaches to Marketing' Sold Out!
Our latest seminar, Approaches to Marketing, was a complete sell-out! Delegates from a wide range of libraries gathered in Leeds on 26 January to see and learn from presentations by the winners of the 2008 Marketing Excellence Awards.
There were plenty of tips to take home, as Neill McInnes (Manchester Library and Information Service) and Joanne Tilley and Val Sonley (University of Teeside) explained some of the secrets of their success, and everyone enjoyed a slice of the PPRG 25th Birthday cake and a chance to get to know Biddy Fisher, the new Vice President of CILIP, who was on her first official engagement!
Delegates found it ‘a fantastic introduction to the world of library marketing’ and went away with ‘useful information…with some practical actions we can implement’.
