Marketing on a Shoestring - Birmingham Central Library, 8 May 2008

Under the leadership of Anthony Brewerton, Head of Academic Support at Warwick University, 20 delegates took part in a day of learning and ideas about marketing and effective campaigns.

 
 

The morning was spent considering the theory behind good marketing and getting some top tips for successful campaigns. After a break for lunch there was a case study of a previous campaign, followed by group discussions of participants' own marketing needs. At the end each group shared the exciting and interesting plans they had made for their own services as a result, to much acclaim.

There was lots of positive feedback, the day as a whole earning good or exellent ratings from all participants. "Excellent presentation" said one, and another found "lots of food for thought".
