About us
This is an organisation set up to enable retired librarians to keep in touch with each other, to participate in activities and to assist CILIP in its promotion of libraries of all types.
The Guild is similar to a Group of CILIP but it is self-financing and does not have representation on Council, but does have a representative on the Branch and Group Forum. It is managed by a Committee which is elected every two years.
