Editorial

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to Issue No 29 of ‘School Libraries in View’. At a recent committee meeting, we, the School Libraries Group (SLG), have decided to make the journal a biannual publication.

The ‘author style guide’ will be available with this issue and I hope you find it a useful guide for future submissions.

This issue features articles on ‘Independent learning skills and strategies, ‘The International boys’ schools coalition’, ‘Reading selection and electronic help services’, ‘How to set up a school Archive’ and a ‘Gothic Literature Event’.

Many thanks to the contributors and may I take this opportunity to remind you that the views are expressed in SLiV are those of the authors and not of SLG of the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professional (CILIP).

I hope you find the articles in this edition to be both stimulating and informative; if you are interested in contributing an article for publication, please get in touch with me at the following address

aa@whitgift.co.uk

Finally, may I take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful summer break
