Structure
The group is managed by a National Committee consisting of four elected officers (Chair, Vice Chair, Hon. Secretary and Hon. Treasurer), together with twelve (max) elected members who themselves may have specific roles (including International Officer, Communications Officer, Regional Sections Co-ordinator and Conference Secretary).
The National Committee has three formal meetings a year, usually in February, June and November, plus a Strategic Planning Day in the summer. A Regional Sections Day, aimed at those involved in UC&R at a regional level, is also held in the early summer.
The Group currently has eleven regional sections, each with its own committee structure. Each regional section sends a representative to UC&R National Committee meetings.
ARLG Hon Secretary, Colin Sawers, is the main point of contact for all general enquiries.
If you wish to contact a particular Committee member, please consult the directory below.
Roles with a * noted are official CILIP recognised posts with yearly re-nomination requirements. Committee members are nominated to serve 3 year terms. Other roles are appointed from the current Committee Members by standard procedures.
