Your local Committee aims to support the work of the National Committee in this region. In doing so, we aim to:

• Provide a strong, regional focus for academic and research librarians in the BBO region.
• Encourage the exchange of information and experience both within the Section and with other relevant regional and national organisations.
• Organise events such as meetings, discussion, and visits at a regional level.

Throughout all this we follow a specific action plan to take the group forward and respond to the needs of our members.
