East Midlands

UC&R East Midlands is the local section for members living in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire.

We aim to support and develop the UC&R mission by:

• organising training events, workshops and visits on topics of current interest to staff working in academic and research library and information services. The annual meetings programme will normally offer a mix of events in terms of length, time, venue and topic.
  
  
• supporting section members with staff development activities through the provision of a conference bursary.
  
  
• collaborating locally with the East Midlands branch of CILIP and the local CoFHE circle.
